Just Nan SAL.

It's that time again, to update you all with what I've been up to. I didn't get chance last month to post my progress as I was at the Mirabilia UK retreat. It's the first I've ever been to and I had a great time stitching and making new friends that I'd only spoke to on Facebook before.
I've been stitching again on Motif Mystique and have been some progress. I have however made a mistake on the flowers on the top part and can't quite bring myself to unpick it at the moment.
Well Blogger is acting up and won't let me post any more pictures, so I'll see you all next time.

Just Nan SAL.

Hello, long time, no see! I hope your all doing well and those of you who are suffering from the Winter Vortex are managing to stay safe and warm.
I decided to join Zeb's Just Nan SAL. I've a lot of Just Nan patterns in my stash and thought that not only might I finally finish a few it might help me to blog a bit more regular! My first choice is 'Motif Mystique'. I'm stitching it on 32ct Raw Belfast with the recommended silks, Soie D'Alger. It's the first time I've stitched with these silks but I must say they are beautiful to work with.

I'm not to sure how long it's going to take me to finish, but hopefully I can get it done in a couple of months. I'll be back next month with another update.

I'm back!

With the holidays and DH and the children been at home I've not been able to get on the computer to update. I hope everyone has had a wonderful time with family and friends, we've mainly stayed inside, ate too much chocolate and watched too much TV.
I've done a little stitching and have started to knit my very first pair of socks. Lets just say that getting to grips with four needles at once has been fun, I've lost count of how many times I pulled them out and started again till I've finally got the hang of it. I'll post pictures later this week.
I'd already posted a list of what I'd like to accomplish in 2010 stitching wise, that list has already grown as I signed up for the Just Nan seasonal humbugs, if the rest are as lovely as this I'll be one happy little bunny. I also signed up for the Littlehouse Needleworks Sampler Months and have very nearly finished January.
I'd better go now and feed the kids :)
